A scenic stop with plenty of space for dogs.

We were staying in Kingsbarns last weekend, so before heading home on Sunday morning, we popped down to the beach for a quick walk with the girls.

It’s one of those places we go fairly often, and although it’s more of a scenic beach stop than a full dog walk, it’s always worth a visit.

A proper hike, big views, and one very energetic dog.

Usually I can start this walk from my house, but this time I got a lift to Cardrona Forest car park and started from there instead.

There are toilets at the car park, which is always handy, and normally you do have to pay to park. There was plenty of space when I arrived, and enough room to avoid the other dog when we got there, just one quick woof from Pepper.

We stopped at Dollar Park in Falkirk for a quick stretch of the legs this weekend while visiting family.

It’s not a huge countryside walk like many of the places we normally go, but it’s a surprisingly pleasant park, and it actually has quite a bit of history behind it.
